Call to find owns manual for old sandpiper cobra bumper pull camper but they were not open so we just hung up with out... leave a message. Before nine a.m. our phone rang and it was Great Outdoors wanting to know if they could help us. We told her (Janet not sure of correct name apologies but very help and polite)what we needed and she connected us to Johnny in the services center. Johnny was more than helpful. We told him what we were looking for manual. Johnny looked up the information and sent us a text immediately with a phone number that we can call Monday but he did stop there he said he would keep looking too.Then we ask about put a ladder on our camper and he told us they don't work on camper over 10 years old BUT, yes, he sent information where to go to have it done.What great service.Thank youread more

As a 20 year military Veteran I value a direct approach and honesty. I answered the sales persons questions honestly.... . I said the unit was average condition but not having seen another like it, it could be worse or better than average and you guys would have a better idea than me. I then added that it was for sure showing its age for full time living and 8 years old. I also discussed with the sales person that it was probably suited more for wholesale.I sure didn’t want to drive 6+ hours round trip to present a unit that I felt wasn’t what I was representing and I have nothing to gain by doing so and is a complete waste of my time.Not sure how more honest I can be.You also don’t get to play ‘the safety card’ when your salesperson is in the lot with my unit and I trying to negotiate down the trade price because he still wants the unit and to do a deal.read more

I couldn’t be happier with the service department at Great Outdoors. The employees were absolutely top of the line.... When I asked a technical question that was not this particular employee’s strong suit, he brought over a second employee to ensure that I got completely accurate information. What I appreciated most was the fact that there was no guesswork involved, but that all available resources were utilized. Recent purchase of a 2010 Winnebago Via.The staff and service at this business are warm, courteous and knowledgeable. ... No high pressure tactics here. There were several items that turned up at inspection (some quite expensive) after our purchase offer , and all were handled under our purchase offer price, no haggling required.Our sales person, Lisa Hamilton, was attentive and always responded quickly to our inquiries. And being first-time motorhome buyers, we had many questions.The technical staff was very good as well. We would like to extend special thanks to "Rizo" for all of his help and guidance.Of course, none of this would be possible without good leadership. Dave did a walk-through with us and was fantastic. He was very patient (we're newbies!) and knowledgeable. We have a... much better understanding of how things actually work. He didn't just show us how to push buttons, or which valves to open/close, but helped us understand the mechanics so it actually made sense. My husband and myself just bought a camper there and they were so helpful and made it an overall great experience!... Jesse was our sales associate and he was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to choosing what was right for us. He was quick to answer any questions or concerns we might have had as well as getting us out there walking through the campers and showing us the options. Billy in finance was also amazing! He was so down to earth and easy to get along with. Usually signing your life away is the most boring part but Billy kept a good atmosphere in his office and made it a great experience. It was a challenge to get my husband and myself there the same day because of our work schedules but Billy and the rest of the crew were so helpful and willing to let us come in at two separate appointments. We went in to just look at rvs. We never have really high hopes for dealers because we have had terrible experiences at... the big name companies around here in the past. From the moment they greeted us it felt like we were talking to old friends. They were professional and knowledgeable as we walked through the lot. When we found the rv we loved they did not pressure us at all to buy. Travis walked us through everything we needed to know about the rv. He even pulled up the specs on our truck to make sure we would be within the weight restrictions for the vehicle. Between Travis and Billy they had our financing worked out in no time. When we went to pick up our new rv (which was a super quick turn around time) Dave took his time showing us the ins and outs while answering any question we had. He showed us how everything worked inside and out. We were so shocked as we drove away with the new unit because the process was so smooth. One of my friends went int he same week and purchased an rv from them because we had such a great experience! Wow! What a spectacular experience we had at The Great Outdoors RV. This team seemed to be begging for the chance to go... out of their way to please us. They definately have the small/ local business kind of feel. It started with Clint in sales who was really patient with us and was not pushy at all... definitely has the right sales touch dialed in. Then we dealt with Tony who fought surprisingly hard to get the financing needed to get us into our unit. He really stepped up to bat for us in a few ways. Jeff and Dave charmed us through the entire walk through of our unit, while Dean worked his magic to complete the equipment installs. Then we met with Billy to close the deal. Who would have thought a finance guy could have such a fenominal personality! Watch out for that guy! Nate knows his stuff in the parts department. He gave us really good advise on several different things. It was easy to see he was looking out for our best interests, not the bill total. I love this rv lot. It feels like family when ever we are there. Tom, Kendra, Greg and all the rest were awesome. Tom... made us feel so unpressured but supported. He genuinely wanted to get us into a new rv that was perfect for our needs. Greg spent so much time showing us the ropes, helping us get everything we needed and advising us on tips and tricks of living and loving an trailer. The a rts team helped us find what we were wanting to add on and we drove away with our neighbors who are now buying from then too. I wish I could give this company an extra star or red heart for how wonderful, ethical and kind they all were. I should also mention their willingness to work with is on our budget. read more
